THREE DAYS LEFT to sign up for the 2019 Doctor Who Secret Santa Gift Exchange!

What is it? An anonymous fanworks exchange (fic, art, gifs and more) done Secret Santa style, where you create an original fanwork for someone and receive one in return! It will cover all of Doctor Who (classic, new and extended universe), including all characters, pairings, and ratings.

This year, there’s a new little twist, too - this year, the exchange has a theme!  The theme is crossovers - and it’s for a good cause!  Taking part in the theme is completely optional - you’re still welcome to just sign up and do the exchange normally, as with previous years - but if you’re interested, see here for more details on what it’s all about!

How do I sign up?

• Reblog this post!  (Spread the word!  The more the merrier!)
• Follow dwsecretsanta for important updates, and to see the gifts when they’re posted.
• Fill out this form.  Much the same as last year, and hopefully flexible enough to cater to any tastes.
  
• Sign ups will be open until October 31st, 2019 - you can sign up for any type of fanwork, era, genre, pairings or characters you want to - and, of course, you can specify which you want to receive in turn.  You will receive the prompts for your recipient within a week after signups close.

Please post your fanworks from the 1st December through to Christmas, and tag them with BOTH #dwsecretsanta or @dwsecretsanta in the body of the post, and the name of the recipient, so it can be reblogged here here and so the recipient can see it and love it and reblog it too. Alternatively, you can submit them to dwsecretsanta.

Sooooo…. yep. Still alive. Still having lots of health problems though.

BUT I may or may not be writing a new fic *hides behind hands*

My plan is to completely finish it though before I start posting. I’m gonna try to be better about checking my tumblr again, but my poor health gives me zero motivation. So feel free to bug me often!

Also, I was reading how tumblr is probably going to be sold?? So if something crazy happens you can all find me on Ao3 and whofic! Feel free to find me and bug me over there!

Hi.

It feels like I’ve been away for years. In reality it’s only been a few months (I think? Time is weird), but I’m emkaywho in case anyone’s forgotten me lol. I wouldn’t blame you. My queue has run dry. That’s how long it’s been.
The reason I’ve been away for so long is because my health is garbage. I’ve been in and out of the hospital, trying out different treatments, and basically just hiding away because I’m exhausted and feel terrible. But yeah. In the process of trying to figure out what is wrong with me, my doctor has found something else that’s needed to be treated, so you know, that’s fun. Everything has made my motivation to come on this site or even attempt to write anything a giant zero. I’m still reading tons of fic though (I need to do something at the hospital and during treatments)! Mostly older stuff right now, but I’ve got a lot of newer stuff saved. I try to remember to comment, but sometimes I forget (fun side effect from one of the meds I was originally on). But I am still here, sort of. I’m going to try to come on here more, but right not I’m mostly over on ao3 reading fics, cheering everyone on, and hoping that someday soon I’ll feel up to writing again.
